My Philosophy

I’m a lucky guy. I get to create every day.

Designing and developing websites allows me to craft user experiences. Sure, design can be pretty and development can be technically impressive, but that’s not the point. I’ve seen too many flashy looking websites that are frustrating to use. It’s my goal to not only make a website look good, but to work well for the user. Designer Charles Eames put it brilliantly:

Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.

He hits the point perfectly. It’s not how things look or function individually, but how they’re brought together to create an experience.
